Matthew 6:28b-30 (ESV)
Today was a beautiful day in Connecticut. Following a couple of days of thunderstorms, today was sunny and warm, but not uncomfortable. The kind of day you want to be outdoors. And I was. With my son Shawn and one of the elders from my church, we took to the golf course for nine holes and had a great time. When we came home, we grilled some chicken, had supper with my wife, and then I took a few minutes to walk around the yard and look at the flowers currently blooming in our yard. The variety of colors, sizes and shapes made me wonder about the words of Jesus recorded above. These flowers are a reminder of God's love and concern for me, a reminder that is hard to ignore when you consider how beautifully God clothed the flowers of our yard. Here are some of what we have currently blooming in our yard.

Very nice, Dwight!
Danny says that we have those here too but we do not have as many. Also, our rose is pink!
Looking forward also to seeing you again at the Reunion!!
