After I had the chance to spend time with the deer this morning, I was privileged to go with the Shaw family to attend worship with the folks at Fellowship Baptist Church in Kimberley. The 32 Shaw family members were able to share with the pastor and congregation of this small church as they offer praise, prayed, listened to the Word and shared in a service of Holy Communion.
Pastor Paul faithfully ministered the Word of God and then, following the Lord's Supper, we were able to share in a wonderful fellowship time when we could visit with the members and guests of this local assembly. As wonderful as being able to worship together was, our appetites were wetted to take part in the worship that will be the hallmark of the Kingdom of God! After a quick lunch in our respective condos, many of our group were off to climb one of the Rockie mountains. I will post some of those pictures tom0rrow, the Lord willing.
Having worshipped in BC this week, I wonder where our various family members will be gathering to worship next week.
