We are excited because we will have all our children and their spouses together, as well as our granddaughter. Here are the Dean boys as they looked at Robbie's wedding last September. They are (l to r) David, Josh, Shawn and Rob.This will be an exciting reunion because our family will all share one of the condo's we have rented, our daughters-in-law will join us and help Barb cope with all the male madness. Here is Barb with the Dean women who will be joining us. They are (l to r) Jennifer, Barb, Marianne (standing) and Erin and Kelly (seated).
In addition to our family, all of Barb's siblings and their families will be there, along with Barb's mom, the matriarch of this crazy clan. The only exception will be the newlyweds, Rachel and Matt, who have to stay behind and keep Massachusetts operating. Here's what they look like since you won't see them in any of the reunion pictures!
The Shaw reunions are always exciting and fun times, filled with laughter, explorations, golf, table games, cooking, omlets, pictures, worship, sharing, remembering and memory making. We can hardly wait to get there tomorrow night. Some of the family went early and are currently enjoying the Calgary Stampede, some won't arrive until Saturday. But by God's grace we will enjoy this time together as we did two years ago in upstate New York at Loon Lake where the family picture below was taken. If I am able, I will post to my blog during the reunion so check back and see what's happening with us. Thanks, and I wonder what the best part of this reunion will be?
