These past few days have been busy for us. On May 31st our niece got married in Lenox, MA. Rachel and Matt will be living in Lee, MA for the immediate future. We wish the happy couple God's best as they begin their life together.
This past Monday, June 2nd, our youngest son Shawn turned 16! We spent they day playing a round of golf (just a par 3) and then feasted on ribs at the Texas Roundhouse. His party will actually take place Friday night and Saturday when he has some friends in for a sleepover and then has a brunch and does some laser tag. Here's our youngest son Shawn.
As I write this our son David and his wife Marianne are flying home from East Asia for 10 weeks of travel in the US and Canada. We are excited that they will be able to join us in British Columbia when we gather for the Shaw Family reunion in July. We also hope to have them visit us in Connecticut in late July and/or early August.
Finally, we were thrilled that Robbie and Kelley, our oldest son and his wife, could come up to be at Rachel and Matt's wedding. We hadn't seen them since their wedding last September so it was great to spend some time with them.
Here's Robbie with Barb and Kelly with Jay Phillips at the wedding reception. I wonder how much fun it will be if God allows us to all get together this July!

Looks like some great family times.
Rejoicing with you! Thanks for the pictures!
Love Sis!
Ah, I can't wait to see everybody...no passports yet, but it's only been 11 days and I hit a snag in getting them sent off, but we're waiting patiently :o) I feel like life in slowing down for a moment before it gets fired back up again. I don't know whether to expect to relax on vacation or come back exhausted! Love you!
