This morning Marianne needed to go to her local market to get some potatoes for dinner tonight, so Barb and I went along for the adventure, and we will never forget it! Here are some wonderful looking vegetables that were on sale.
You can buy all kinds of freshly made noodles.
You can have your pick of pigs feet...
or brains (we were afraid to ask what kind of brains these were)!
You could find fresh fish....
and either fresh chicken...
or already processed chicken!
You could buy fresh eel...
or you might want some fresh pigeon!
They had fresh turkey and...
sausage and bacon.
One of the treats we saw at several places, including the market, was these fresh pineapple on a stick, seriously delicious!
Somehow, visiting the supermarket was never like this!
